Target has announced a limited-edition collaboration with the iconic fashion brand Diane von Furstenberg, heading to stores this spring.
The Diane von Furstenberg for Target collection is a collaboration between the fashion designer and her granddaughter, Talita von Furstenberg. It will be available beginning March 23 both in stores and on Target's website, while supplies last.
Target is also offering customers a chance to shop the collection early at a public event March 15-16 at The Shed in New York City.
What items are in Target's Diane von Furstenberg collection?
According to a release, the Diane von Furstenberg for Target collection includes over 200 items featuring archival Diane von Furstenberg prints, as well as new patterns and pieces exclusive to Target. In addition to the brand's iconic wrap dresses, the collection will span women's, girl's, baby apparel and accessories, beauty and home decor, with most items priced under $50.
It will also feature made-to-order furniture starting at $300, including headboards, benches and room dividers that can be customized in one of seven exclusive fabrics made for the Target collection.
Who is Diane von Furstenberg?
Born in Belgium, von Furstenberg, now 77, gained prominence as a fashion designer in the late 1960s and 1970s and is best known for her wrap dress.
In addition to being Diane von Furstenberg's granddaughter, Talita von Furstenberg is also a designer, entrepreneur, philanthropist and the co-chairwoman of her grandmother's brand.
"Every collection we create is about making women feel confident so they can be the women they want to be," Diane von Furstenberg said in a release. "Talita and I are proud to partner with Target to extend that invitation to even more women who want to experience timeless pieces that bring effortless glamour and empowerment to their everyday lives."
